liblinux-inotify2-perl software package provides scalable directory and file change notification, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install liblinux-inotify2-perl
liblinux-inotify2-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the liblinux-inotify2-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
